Biblical Foundations

St Paul’s United Methodist Church is rooted in the belief that the Bible, comprising the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired and authoritative Word of God. We firmly hold that it is the guidebook for spiritual growth, understanding, and living a meaningful life in accordance with God's plan.

God's Love and Redemption

At St Paul’s United Methodist Church, we celebrate and embrace God's boundless love for all people. We believe that through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, everyone can experience forgiveness, salvation, and eternal life. We strive to embody Christ's love and share the message of redemption with our members and the community.

The Holy Trinity

We affirm the Christian doctrine of the Holy Trinity, which teaches that God eternally exists as three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. They are equal in power, authority, and divine nature, while being one God.

Sin and Salvation

Recognizing the fallen nature of humanity, we believe that all have sinned and fall short of God's glory. However, through faith in Jesus Christ, we can receive forgiveness and eternal life. We believe that salvation is a gift from God and cannot be earned through good works alone.

Worship and Sacraments

Worship is at the heart of our community at St Paul’s United Methodist Church. We value the sacraments as sacred rituals that signify God's grace and presence. We celebrate baptism as a symbol of new life in Christ and regularly observe Holy Communion, where we remember Jesus' sacrifice and partake in the spiritual nourishment offered.

As followers of Christ, we are called to act justly and seek the well-being of others. St Paul’s United Methodist Church is committed to social justice and community outreach. We actively engage in efforts to address issues like poverty, inequality, discrimination, and environmental stewardship.
