About the Role - HR Generalist at Gordon-Conwell's South Hamilton Campus
The HR Generalist role at Gordon-Conwell's South Hamilton Campus is a unique opportunity to serve as a key member of our organization's administrative team. As the HR Generalist, you will play a vital role in supporting our overall mission by overseeing various HR functions, ensuring employee engagement, managing recruitment processes, facilitating training and development programs, and providing strategic HR support to our dedicated staff.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and improve HR policies and procedures
- Manage recruitment and onboarding processes
- Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution
- Coordinate employee training and development initiatives
- Administer compensation and benefits programs
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases
- Keep up-to-date with HR best practices and legal requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in HR management or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role
- Strong knowledge of HR principles and practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Proficiency in HRIS and other HR software
- Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus
